- India’s junior women boxers clinched seven medals, including five gold at the Black Forest Cup in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.
- The team was adjudged the best of the tournament.
- Haryana’s Neha (54kg) - Best boxer
- Karnataka’s Anju Devi (50kg) - Promising player of the tournament respectively.
- Tamanna (48kg), H Ambeshori Devi (57kg), and Preeti Dahiya (60kg) were the other pugilits who returned with gold medals out of the 13-member Indian squad.
- Ten countries including India, Ukraine, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Hungary, Lithuania, Mongolia, Greece, and Poland took part in this tournament.
