- Buxa Tiger Reserve have finally got at least one resident tiger after a gap of four decades.
- In the early eighties, the reserve had a record number of tigers residing there.
- A tiger was clicked by camera traps in BTR in December 2021, after a gap of 28 years.
- Buxa Tiger Reserve has span over 760 square kilometres in North Bengal’s Alipurduar district.
