- India will be the official ‘Country of Honour’ at the upcoming Marche’s Du Film which will be organized alongside the Cannes Film Festival 2022 in France.
- It is also the first time that such honour has been bestowed on any country.
- As India celebrates its 75 years of Independence this year, it also coincides with Cannes Film Festival’s 75th anniversary.
