- Andhra Pradesh was conferred with CBIP’s (Central Board of Irrigation & Power) “Best Implementation of Water Resources Project”.
- It has been conferred for the better planning, implementation, monitoring and speedy execution of Polavaram multipurpose project on the Godavari River.
