The European Union (EU) comprising of 27 members has joined the “Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) initiative” of India.
CDRI is an international coalition of countries, United Nations (UN) agencies, private sectors, multilateral development banks and academic institutions.
The initiative aims to promote the disaster-resilient infrastructure.
The CDRI Initiative was launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2019.
The initiative was launched at the UN Climate Change Summit, held at Spain.
