- Centre for kayaking and canoeing at a quarry in Melkottaiyur on Kelambakkam - Vandalur Road
- 9-km stretch for rowing on Buckingham canal at Thoraipakkam.
- Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) will be in charge of maintaining these facilities, as well as identifying.
