- Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Narayan Tatu Rane recently inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Khadi.
- The hub of the Centre of Excellence for Khadi (CoEK) is located at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi.
- Its function is to introduce the latest designs and create new fabrics adhering to the global standards and also meeting the needs of domestic and foreign buyers.
