- A portion of the ornamental stucco work of one the 4 minars has fallen off.
- The Charminar was built in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah.
- He built it as the foundation of the Hyderabad.
- He was the fourth king of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
- He also built the Golconda fort.
