- The Center has established a 9-member Task Force to oversee the introduction of cheetahs in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park and other suitably specified places.
- The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) would support the Cheetah Task Force’s operations.
- The Task Force will be active for two years.
- The task force members will be interacting with Cheetah Mitras and local communities to raise awareness about their conservation in particular and an area in general.
