- The Realtime monitoring station of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has consistently recorded AQI (Air Quality Index) over 300 at Chennai.
- As per National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS), AQI between 51-100 is considered satisfactory.
