- IAS officer Satyabrata Sahoo has been named the next Chief Electoral Officer for Tamil Nadu, replacing the incumbent Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni.
- Satyabrata Sahoo is an IAS officer of the 1997 batch and a native of Odisha.
- Sahoo is currently Managing Director of the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB).
