- China unveiled the Dongfeng 41 (DF-41) intercontinental-range ballistic missile.
- The missile was unveiled at China’s National Day Parade (October 1, 2019), which is the 70th Anniversary of Communist rule.
- DF-41 is touted to be the most powerful missile on the planet.
- It has a range of up to 15,000 kilometres more than any missile on Earth.
- It is capable of carrying 10 independently targeted nuclear warheads and could theoretically hit the United States in 30 minutes.
- China has also displayed its underwater vehicles and new stealth DR-8 drones which can fly five times faster than the speed of sound.
