- It is an intergovernmental meeting represented by Heads of Government level ministries.
- It focuses on Global warming and set a target to keep the rising temperature beyond 1.5 degree Celsius.
- The Climate Vulnerable Forum was founded by the Maldives government and India is one of the Observer States of this Forum.
