Clinical Trial in Ayurveda for Rheumatoid Arthritis

- The Ministry of Ayush has launched the world’s first multicenter phase III clinical trial that will be assessing Ayurveda’s efficacy in Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment.
- This trial will be monitored by Dr. Daniel Erick Furst who is a world-renowned rheumatologist from the University of California.
- The AVP Research Foundation, affiliated to the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd and the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush will be conducting these trials.
- Clinical trials will be conducted in Central Ayurveda Research Institute for Metabolic Disorders, Bengaluru, AVP Research Foundation, Coimbatore, and the Raja Ramdeo Anandilala Central Ayurveda Research Institute for Cancer, Mumbai.
