The Commonwealth Chess Championship 2018 were held at New Delhi, India from 25th June to 4th July 2018 organized by Delhi Chess Association.
They were held in Open section, and from under 8 to under 20 for boys and girls.
IM P. Karthikeyan of India was the surprising winner of the 2018 Commonwealth Chess Championship while Indian WGM and IM Tania Sachdev won the Commonwealth women's title.
Shriyana Mallya, an 8-year-old chess prodigy from Mangaluru won the U-8 Girls' Commonwealth Chess Championship 2018.
