- The 37th edition of India-Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) was held in the Indian Ocean region.
- CORPAT is held twice a year to ensure safety and security.
- It was conducted for the first time in 2002.
- Indigenously built Indian Naval Ship (INS) Khanjar and Dornier Maritime Patrol Aircraft are participating in the CORPAT.
- Indonesian Naval Ship KRI Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin, (376) is participating from Indonesia.
