- According to the report, crimes against women increased by 7.3% between 2018 and 2019.

- UP also had the highest number of dowry cases followed by Bihar.
- Assam reported the highest rate of crimes against women.
- Rajasthan had the highest rate of crimes against scheduled castes.
- In 2018, the crime rate was 58.8 and it increased to 62.4 in 2019.
- The highest number of rapes against Dalit women was recorded in Rajasthan, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
