- Harayana has included additional crops under ‘Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojna (BBY)’ scheme.
- The crops are – Carrots, peas, kinnow, guava, capsicum and brinjal.
- Under BBY, farmers get compensated for selling their crop at a price lower than that fixed by government.
- The scheme was started in 2018.
