- It is headed towards the coast in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
- It was termed by Bangladesh.
- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has been mandated with the duty to name cyclones that develop over the North Indian ocean, including Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.
