- The Union Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah launched the “Dairy Sahakar” scheme of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
- The overall objectives of the Dairy Sahakar scheme are
- Doubling the farmers’ income and
- Atma nirbhar Bharat.
- Dairy Sahakar with a total investment of Rs. 5000 crores will be implemented to realize the vision, “from cooperation to prosperity"
