Debjani Ghosh set to be first woman President of Nasscom

- The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has named Debjani Ghosh its president-designate succeeding R Chandrashekhar after completion of his tenure in March next year.
- Ghosh, former managing director of Intel South Asia, will be the first woman President of Nasscom.
- NASSCOM is global non-profit trade association (organisation) of Indian Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
- It is registered under the Indian Societies Act, 1860. Its headquarters is in New Delhi. NASSCOM was established in 1988.
