- The ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit was held in New Delhi to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of sectoral dialogue between two sides.
- It issued joint statement titled Delhi Declaration after the plenary session focusing on counter-terrorism, security, military cooperation, and bilateral financial support.
- The theme of the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations was "Shared Values, Common Destiny”.
- The Declaration supports a common approach to counter terrorism and sought a comprehensive approach to combat terrorism through close cooperation.
- The declaration also urges countries to strengthen cooperation and collaboration in combating transnational crimes, including people smuggling, trafficking in persons, illicit drug trafficking, cybercrime.
- The Delhi Declaration also reaffirmed the importance of maintaining and promoting peace, stability, maritime safety and security in accordance with UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea).
