- The Digital Quality of Life (DQL) Index was released by cyber-security company Surfshark.
- This annual study ranks 121 countries across globe.
- France tops in the list and is followed by Finland, Denmark, Germany and Luxemburg.
- India is placed at 52nd position in the index.
- In Asia, India takes 13th place, with Singapore the top in the region.
- India’s internet quality is 36 per cent higher than the global average and ranks 16th in the world.
- India ranks 28th in internet affordability, 35th in e-government, and 66th in e-security.
- But the country faced challenges in e-infrastructure with ranking 91st.
