- The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory is to get India’s first district-level Good Governance Index.
- The index is modelled on the Good Governance Index 2021.
- It is to be calculated considering 58 indicators in ten different sectors.
- The index will help Jammu and Kashmir increase its district governance to the level of other best-administered districts in the country.
