- The Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (BCTNP) warning their members against wearing jeans, capris, and leggings to courts.
- All advocates to appear before the courts in a presentable manner.
- Any violation of the prescribed dress code would amount to professional misconduct punishable under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961.
