E - auction platform – eBkray

- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has launched an e-auction platform ‘eBkray’.
- The platform will enable online auction of attached assets by banks.
- Indian Banks Auctions Mortgaged Properties Information (IBAPI) portal is an initiative of Indian Banks Association under Ministry of Finance.
- It was launched to provide a platform to give details of mortgaged properties to be auctioned in online by Banks, starting with PSBs.
- Currently, 21 banks are onboard on this portal.
