- The James Webb Space Telescope have discovered the two earliest and most distant galaxies ever observed.
- They are dating back to just 300 million years after the Big Bang.
- The two newly discovered galaxies, named JADES-GS-z14-0 and JADES-GS-z14-1.
- JADES-GS-z14-0, the larger of the two, spans an estimated 1,600 light-years across.
- They are surpassing the previous record holders which dated to approximately 330 million years after the Big Bang.
