- The Yale University recently released the 12th edition of biennial Environment Performance Index.
- The index provided 10-year observation on environmental performance at national and international level.
- The index ranks 180 countries on 32 performance indicators across 11 categories covering environmental health and ecosystem vitality.
- India scored 168th rank out of 180 countries
- All the South Asian countries were ahead of India except Afghanistan.
