  • Acute food insecurity is likely to worsen in 18 hunger hotspots through April 2024.
  • These hotspots comprise 22 countries or territories, including two regional clusters.
  • Afghanistan, Congo Republic, Ethiopia, Haiti, Pakistan, Somalia, the Syrian Arab Republic, and Yemen are identified as high-risk areas in the report.
