- For the second year in a row, Belgium was announced as the FIFA’s Team of the Year as it reached the top of the world rankings for the year 2019.
- Belgium was followed by France, Brazil, England and Uruguay in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th spots respectively.
- The 1st FIFA rankings of the new decade will be released on February 20, 2020.
