- Priyanka Mohite has become the first Indian woman climber to scale five peaks above 8,000 metres.
- She is also the first Indian woman to scale Mount Annapurna.
- The 30-years old Priyanka Mohite is also the winner of the Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award 2020.
- The five peaks are
- Mt Annapurna (8,091 m)
- Mount Everest (8,849m)
- Mount Lhoste (8,516m)
- Mount Makalu (8,849m) and
- Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m)
