- UK's Tokamak Energy has built the world-first set of new-generation high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets.
- This will be assembled and tested in fusion power plant-relevant scenarios.
- Tokamak's new Demo4 facility will consist of 44 individual magnetic coils.
- Demo4 will have a magnetic field strength of over 18 Tesla, nearly a million times stronger than the Earth's magnetic field.
