  • A weaving heritage park will be set up in Nagore in Nagai district at a cost of Rs 2 crores in 2021-2022.
  • The Colour Fish Trade Centre at Kolathur, Chennai will be set up to international standards with Government and private participation.
  • Tamil Nadu is the 7th state to bring a resolution in the Assembly against the Agriculture Act.
  • Seven states, including Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Rajasthan, have already passed resolutions against agricultural laws.
  • The four places, namely Melmalaiyanur, Vallam of the Villupuram District, Madhanur of Tirupathur District and Harur of Dharmapuri District will be set up with Agricultural Extension Centres.
  • A new Seed Testing Station will be set up at Tirupur.
  • A ‘one day program with farmers’ will be implemented to go to the villages and listen to the grievances of the farmers.
  • 4 organic farmer manufacturing companies will be set up at Dharmapuri, Cuddalore, Ranipet and Thiruvarur.
  • An animal feed factory will be set up in Thanjavur district.
  • National Poultry Breeding Farm and Poultry Incubation Establishment will be established at Abikesampatti farm, Tirunelveli District.
  • A multipurpose hospital and research centre for pets will be set up at Nandanam, Chennai.
  • Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri-based Tirukkachiruppu Sheep's Research Centre will be set up on 800 acres in Dharmapuri.
  • A resource centre for the conservation of poultry (Siruvidai kozhi) in Tamil Nadu will be set up at the Madhavaram Poultry Research Station.
  • In Orathanadu Veterinary College and Research Institute (Thanjavur), Tamil Nadu's Pattanam Sheep and Goat Resource Centre will be established.
  • 50 Special markets would be set up at a cost of 8 crore in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchi and Salem to showcase the products of products of farmer-producer organisations
  • An agri course in agriculture engineering would be started at the Agriculture Engineering College and Research Institute in Kumlur, Tiruchi.
  • Three Government agriculture colleges will come up in Karur district, Kilvelur in Nagapattinam district and Chettinadu in Sivagangai district.
