- It aims to expand export opportunities for Indian animal products, and enhance the country’s global market presence.
- Foot-and-mouth disease is a highly contagious viral disease of wild and domesticated animals, most notably in cattle, pigs, and sheep.
- The viral disease, causes wounds to the feet and mouth of cattle, leads to cattle developing fever and not consuming fodder.
