- Recently, the Startup Engagement Group of G – 20 held its inception meeting in Hyderabad.
- As the name suggests the startup 20 Engagement group has representatives from leading startups in the G-20 countries.
- Startup 20 focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
- It will aim to bridge the gaps between the startups of the G-20 members and the other emerging economies in the world.
- Apart from the G20 members, nine special invitees also attended the meet
- India is to host the G-20 summit to be held in 2023.
- To make the summit a success, several engagement groups are being formed.
- The group comprises representatives from Non – Government organizations.
