- It seeks to bridge the gender digital divide G20 EMPOWER summit held in Gandhinagar.
- The platform is available in over 120 languages and offers digital skilling courses for women across G20 nations.
- The platform is to be funded by India for the next three years.
- It will be maintained by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (Ficci).
- The summit was organized around the theme ‘Women-Led Development: ensuring a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable global economic growth’.
- EMPOWER is the G20 Alliance for Empowerment and Progression of Women's Economic Representation that was launched in 2019.
