- The Indian Space Research Organisation successfully conducted the first hot test of the System Demonstration Model of the Gaganyaan Service Module Propulsion System.
- It was done at the test facility of Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.
- The test conducted for 450 seconds met the test objectives and matched the pre-test predictions.
- The Gaganyaan Service Module Propulsion System is a part of the Gaganyaan Orbital module of the Gaganyaan Mission, India’s first human spaceflight mission.
