- The Global Biodiversity Framework Fund (GBFF) has been ratified and launched during the 7th Assembly of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in Vancouver, Canada.
- This framework is designed to help halt and reverse biodiversity loss and put nature on a path to recovery by 2030.
- It channels financial resources to achieve goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework established by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), by the year 2030.
