- India launched the Global Biofuel Alliance in India Energy Week 2023 event.
- It aims to create a favourable ecosystem for promoting biofuels with key stakeholders including the US, Brazil, EU, IEA etc.
- The alliance would look to develop an ecosystem for fuel standards and engines and collaboration on technology for faster adoption.
