- Copenhagen, Denmark got second place and Zurich, Switzerland, in third place.
- Melbourne, Australia (4th globally) is the top Asia’s liveable city.
- The bottom 10 are dominated by cities in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East and North Africa regions.
- Damascus, Syria and Tripoli, Libya rank as the two lowest cities for livability.
