Singapore's passport has been announced as the most powerful in the world. It is the first time that an Asian country has occupied the first place in the index.
India’s passport was ranked 75th among 94 countries in the recently released Global Passport Power Rank 2017 and has improved 3 rankings compared to last year.
The index ranks passports worldwide based on the cross-border access a holder has.
It was developed by Canada based global consultancy Arton Capital.
Germany listed in second place with its citizens able to visit 158 countries.
