- It was an annual report released by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
- On Global front, the displacement number is 79.5 million or one in every 97 people on the planet at the end of 2019.
- Five countries account for two-thirds (68%) of people displaced across borders: Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan, South Sudan and Myanmar.
