- Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh has launched the “Go Tribal Campaign” in partnership with Amazon Global and TRIFED.
- The collaboration aims to create awareness and promote tribal arts and crafts as well as aid in socio-economic welfare of over 700 Indian tribes and the TRIFED.
TRIFED
- The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) was formed in 1987.
- It is a national-level apex organization functioning under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- It is head quartered in Delhi and has 13 regional offices.
- Its objective is to provide fair price to the products made or collected from the forest by the tribals.
