- Goa Revolution Day was celebrated on June 18, 2019.
- Goa got its freedom on 19 December 1961 from Portuguese.
- But Ram Manohar Lohia initiated struggle for Goa’s liberation from Portuguese on 18 June 1946.
- The day is observed in memory of the date when the agitation against colonial rule was launched by Lohia.
