- The Goa government has signed a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Bio-Technology, Ministry of Science and Technologyand Nobel Media, Sweden to hold the ‘Nobel Prize Series — India 2018
- The event will be held along with month-long exhibition brought from Nobel Museum, Sweden.
- The event will be jointly organized by Department of Bio-Technology, Union Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology and Nobel Media, Sweden.
- It is being held with objective of driving people towards pure science rather than technology and Earlier Nobel series were organised in Gujarat.
