- The Good Governance Day was celebrated across the country on 25th December to commemorate the birth anniversary of Former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- The day was established in 2014 to honour Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the people on accountability in Governance and Government.
- The Prime Minister released a commemorative 100 rupees coin in memory of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
