- The 13-year-old girl from Madurai M Nethra was appointed as 'Goodwill Ambassador (GWA) for the Poor' by the United Nations Association for Development and Peace (UNADAP).
- The UNADAP recognition brings to the girl the opportunity to address the upcoming Civil Society forums at the UN conferences in New York and Geneva.

UNADAP is a Non-governmental organization, It is not a Part of United Nations. also its a UN CSO Conferences in New york and in Geneve not a UN Conference.
