- The KSRTC’s “Grama Vandi” was introduced in collaboration with State-level local self-government organisations.
- Recently, it got the “Commendation Award in Urban Transport” for “City with the Best Public Transport System”.
- This award was established by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry.
- The projects are intended to improve public transportation in all Indian cities were taken into consideration.
