  • Japan's unmanned Hayabusa2 Space Probe is on its way back to earth after reaching out ryugu asteroid mission (250 million km).
  • Hayabusa2 is scheduled to return to Earth by the end of 2020
  • If the return trip is completed successfully, then it will be the first-time samples from beneath an asteroid's surface have been brought back to Earth.
  • Asteroids are believed to have formed at the dawn of the solar system.
  • The asteroid Ryugu may contain organic matter that may have contributed to life on Earth.
