- The National Green Tribunal has appointed former Uttarakhand High Court judge, Justice U C Dhyani, as the head of the 3-member committee to oversee the rejuvenation work of the Ganga river.
- Earlier on 6th August 2018, Justice Arun Tandon was appointed as the head of the said panel, but later he was replaced.
